EVW Football is excited and proud to renew our  partnership with the Matt Davison Foundation and the Creating Captains Program. This program uses athletics as a platform to reach out to our youth and help to guide them toward positive behaviors and choices as they work their way toward adulthood. This program strives to help turn the athletes of today into the leaders of tomorrow. The program is designed to empower student athletes to live a life of character, both on and off the playing field. By engaging youth with positive messages early in their athletic careers, Creating Captains instills values and teaches lessons that last a lifetime.

The program is built upon a foundation of four core values: Character, Courage, Leadership and Respect. These pillars support a life of excellence and guide young athletes to be role models for their peers and leaders in their communities. Creating Captains uses sports as a foundation to engage youth regardless of athletic ability, while addressing many of the social issues facing youth today.

• Drugs & Alcohol
• Teamwork
• Healthy Lifestyles

EVW Youth Football believes that this program will help to provide direction and value to our program and it's participants.  

In the coming weeks, EVW will be working with local community leaders to establish football camps and opportunities for Matt and his staff to come into several of the local EVW communities and spend time with the kids with these powerful messages. Our goal is to reach out and touch as many of our kids as possible moving forward.
